Left 4 Dead creator unveils Evolve

Who’s ready to Evolve? The upcoming new title announced by independent developer Turtle Rock Studios, the company half-responsible for Valve’s Left 4 Dead series, is doing just that with their first next-generation title.

Evolve is being billed as similar to L4D in some important aspects, such as the 4-player cooperative gameplay and the fight for survival with varied playthroughs each and every time. Instead of hordes of zombies, a singular player-controlled alien will be the foe players take on. Level after level, the creature evolves and grows stronger, forcing players to change their tactics if they expect to progress further in the game. For the alien hunters out there, expect a challenge. For those aliens though? Good luck!

Expect to see the game for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in autumn of this year.
