Rogue Legacy won’t remain a PC exclusive for long. Original developer Cellar Door Games’ designer Teddy Lee announced on the Playstation Blog that the game will come to PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, on July 29th.

Lee explained how he believes the PS Vita version will control nicely, “When we originally made Rogue Legacy, we made it with the PS Vita buttons in mind. No joke… we made sure to not use too many buttons.”

The port is handled by Abstraction Games who have stated that everything that was in the PC version of the game will be in this release including; extra bonus zones, traits, and boss remixes, plus an unknown addition exclusive to the PlayStation ports.

The game supports PlayStation’s always welcome cross-buy service, allowing you to buy the game on one platform and play it on all three with saving across platforms. The game has also been translated into many different languages and contains a Platinum Trophy for all you trophy hunters.

Rogue Legacy tasks players to explore randomly generated dungeons defeating baddies and collecting gold to upgrade your armor and abilities. You will die a plethora of times in this rogue styled platformer. Each time you die, control will transfer over to one of three randomly generated heirs, each with their own unique characteristics and abilities.
