The new 16GB Ouya is now available

After a successful Kickstarter in 2012 that saw almost $9 million raised, an updated version of the open OS console has been released less than 8 months after the initial launch. Doubling the internal memory from 8GB to 16GB, the new Ouya model can be purchased for $129.99. That is only a $30 difference from the original 8GB price of $99.99.

Besides the increase in memory, the new model features improved WiFi connectivity, a refined controller and the latest firmware. Also if you like Christian Bale in Batman Begins, the new 16GB Ouya comes in a matte black finish.

The 16GB Ouya model can be purchased at the Ouya web store, although it is currently sold out.
