​Sierra Announces Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved

It wasn't enough for Sierra to bring the game that was known as "digital crack" to multiple platforms, but the developers have been hard at work doubling the amount of content in the game. Three months after release, Lucid Games is adding 40 new stages to Adventure mode, which includes new boss battles, 3D grid shapes, gameplay types, and even more content.

Die-hard fans of Geometry Wars will be delighted to know the newly included Hardcore mode features 20 dedicated levels without the use of a drone or super. This allows for purists to compete on separate leaderboards.

Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved will be a free download for current Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions owners on March 31, 2015 on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC via Steam.
