Rumor: Xbox One may release before the PS4

There is a rumor that is spreading that the Xbox One might be a midnight release on November 8, 2013, a whole week before the confirmed launch date of the PlayStation 4. Microsoft has not issued an official statement on the rumor as of yet.

As being reported on by our friends over at Kotaku, a source what works for a marketing company has leaked a document that lists the Xbox 1 (not Xbox One) as a midnight release on November 8, 2013. It is however, clearly marked as not being confirmed, which could represent that the release date is a reaction to Sony’s announcement that the PlayStation 4 will release on November 15.

If this release date is confirmed it will come 3 days after the confirmed release date of Call Of Duty: Ghosts and about a week and a half after Battlefield 4 and Assassins Creed: Black Flag.

In any event, this will be a busy season for gamers this holiday season.
