R.I.P.D. coming to PC and consoles this Summer

ATLUS and Old School Games, the developers behind the old-school multiplayer shooter God Mode, have announced a new downloadable title based on the upcoming film R.I.P.D. (Rest in Peace Police Department).

“Being able to create the game for the R.I.P.D. movie is a huge honor. Our past development experience in the action-shooter genre is a tailor-made fit to adapt this exciting film to the interactive space.”Matthew Karch, President of Old School Games

Featuring cooperative online gameplay, players will control the two lawmen with the duty to protect the living from those from the recently deceased souls refusing to pass over to the other side. The game will release sometime during the summer (probably close to the release date of the movie) and will be $9.99 on PC and PlayStation Network and 800 MSP on Xbox Live.
