One of the top-selling titles on Oculus Rift, The Assembly, is being released on October 13, 2016 for the launch of PlayStation VR. Available on the PlayStation Store, The Assembly will cost $29.99, and players can expect an immersive, interactive story in first-person VR inspired by real-world anxieties.

Centering around the mysterious Assembly, you must discover what secrets are hiding inside this facility where experiments outside the constraints of government scrutiny, and society’s morals are being performed. The game includes two different protagonists, both having the chance to uncover the hidden truths from within the mysterious organisation.

Players move in The Assembly using the DualShock 4 controller, and have two different viable movement options. The Oculus Rift release of the game supports both Blink (teleportation) and dual-analog controls, and nDreams has confirmed that both options will be included for the PlayStation VR version of the game as well.

The custom designed Blink controls minimizes the use of the gamepad to move or position the camera. It combines short distance teleportation with snap rotation for turning, eliminating motion sickness and still preserving free movement in first-person on the gamepad within the 3D virtual environment.
