Selling over 2 million copies worldwide, Farming Simulator became a surprise hit, far surpassing expectations. Getting a first look at the game at E3 2014, we were excited to see that the team at Giants Software are hard at work on Farming Simulator 15.
Not only will Farming Simulator 15 feature an all new physics engine, but the farm equipment you will be controlling was built using photorealistic rendering. Along with the visual improvements, the game features a new interface and additional activities that you won’t find in the original game. Logging allows you to clear the forested areas around your farm using newly added vehicles allowing you to chop, grab and transport logs.
As a farmer you will have to grow crops, sell produce, rear livestock and manage and develop your own farming complex. There will be two different open worlds, including a brand new Nordic location.
The online mode for Farming Simulator 15 will allow you to manage a farm with up to 15 players online or on a local network. As they have always supported, the community will be free to create modes for the game using the in-game customization tool, including vehicles, equipment and environments.
Farming Simulator 15 is set to release on PC this October and early 2015 on consoles.
