E3 2012: Star Wars: The Old Republic expands

EA, in conjunction with BioWare, have announced plans to expand the universe of The Old Republic with loads of new content. First and foremost there are plans to increase the level cap for all playable classes, but that’s not the end of it. A new race, the Cathar, are being introduced as well as the planet Makeb which will force players to deal with the Hutt Cartels. There are also new Ancient Hypergates and threats from the beyond the galaxy that players will fight against.

New players to The Old Republic will also be able to play the game for free until level 15 starting this summer.
