E3 2012: Injustice: Gods Among Us

NetherRealms Studies returns to the DC Universe with the upcoming Injustice: Gods Among Us. Taking many of the fighting elements from the recent Mortal Kombat reboot, Injustice seeks to bring the over-the-top fighting action to the superheroes of DC. The studio has already confirmed there won’t be the exaggerated killing moves from the Mortal Kombat-styled gameplay; instead each character will have exaggerated special moves that fall right in line with their combat styles.

So far the announced roster includes Batman, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Solomon Grundy, and Harley Quinn. No word yet on other supervillains or heroes, but it’s highly unlikely NetherRealms wouldn’t capitalize on something so awesome by leaving out fan favorites.
