Dead Alliance Impressions - E3 2017

Dead Alliance is a first-person shooter that puts players in a middle of a post-apocalyptic wasteland full of zombies. These zombies who once brought down civilization are now merely pawns in the fight for survival. Set across the only inhabited locations left on Earth former military bases, plays must use the zombies as weapons against the opposing factions. Published by Maximum Games, and developed by Illfonic and Psyop Games, Dead Alliance is currently scheduled to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC on August 29, 2017.

Dead Alliance puts a twist on your standard competitive multiplayer mode but combining zombies into a team-based shooter. Rather than attempting to fight the undead hordes straight-on, you must utilize them in your attempt to capture and control as many bases as possible. Using special tools called zMods, players can use zombies to distract, disable and attack the opposing team, using many different items, such as lures, traps, and pheromone grenades.

There are plans to add a campaign mode, and I am unsure if it will be included at release, but the primary focus of Dead Alliance is on the multiplayer aspect of the game. Teams of four battle across modes such as, Team Deathmatch, King of the Hill, and Capture and Hold. There is even a zombie-MOBA style of mode where you must capture your opponent's home base, and maneuver between lands in a zombie jungle.
