Crysis Twitter Account Teasing Announcement

The Crysis twitter account has emerged from an almost three and a half years slumber with two simple words, "RECEIVING DATA." A Crysis Remaster has been rumored for quite some time, though little traction or evidence has been produced. With the current generation of consoles coming to an end Holiday 2020, a remastering of the first game or even a trilogy collection would be ideal for launch. Of course, this could also be an announcement for the current generation (PS4, Xbox One, Switch) or even a tease for an entirely new game in the franchise.

Personally, I would adore a Crysis Remake, built with the latest Crytek engine for next-generation. Hopefully, it won't be too long before we can finally know if PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X can run Crysis.
