Alan Wake Sequel Confirmed?

Breaking news for fans of Alan Wake, the 2009 sleeper hit exclusive to the Xbox 360. Rumors turned to truth today with the confirmation of a sequel hitting the 360 at some point in the near future. While Remedy Entertainment has been generally tight lipped about bringing out a sequel to the game, MajorNelson announced today and confirmed some of the rumors that had been floating around.

There will be an Alan Wake (2?) of sorts, it will be a full game and available to the 360, but in a twist it will be only available through XBLA as a downloadable title. Expect more details during the Spike Video Game Awards where the game will be shown for the first time.
